Route characteristics

His Eminence Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz blessed the Pilgrims’ Route at the beginning of 2010. The route is a wonderful testimony to the pious devotion of the generations of Wieliczka miners working here. Pilgrims can admire the magnificent sculptures in St Anthony’s Chapel. Their blurred features are the result of the forces of nature and the inexorable passage of time. The pilgrimage leads through the Wooden Golgotha of Wieliczka miners, which impresses with its artistry and elegance of workmanship.
The culmination of the journey is a tour of the miraculous St Kinga’s Chapel, where visitors can find magnificent altars, a carved pulpit, a copy of Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper and a salt statue of John Paul II.

In exceptional cases, some of the chambers on the Tourist Route may be excluded from the tour.
Telefon / Internet

The Mine is a place where you can quiet down for a while and cut yourself off from the world, because telecommunication signals will not reach you here.
However, we have prepared a place for our guests where they can use free WiFi, as well as make calls.
