Thinking of those who look for interesting places and experiences, the Underground Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre has prepared an offer of over-night stays in chamber of Stable of East Mining Hills, 135 meters underground in the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

Over-night stays combine sleeping in the special microclimate of salt excavations with physical and psychological relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. It is ideal place for these people, who complain about respiratory pain, because the air doesn't contain pollutants in which the contemporary natural environment on the surface of the earth abounds; there aren’t there any allergens, bacteria and fungi.
The Stable of East Mining Hills Chamber is authentic horse’s stable, where the horses stayed, working in the salt excavations of Wieliczka salt mine in XX century. Nowadays the chamber Stable of East Mining Hills is modern health chamber - “natural inhalator” with underground brine graduation tower, reading room and comfortable deckchairs. The chamber is located outside of the historical tourist route. Before starting stay the participants get original miner’s helmets.

( There is the possibility to agree other over-night stays dates, but the group of participants has to consist of minimum 10 persons )

The price for one over-night stay underground – PLN 100/person

We offer during the over-night stays in Wieliczka`s salt excavations:

• unique microclimate, rich in sodium chloride and a lot of elements like magnesium, manganese and calcium; without viruses, allergens, bacteria and pollutions;
• supervision and care off center’s staff;
• an half-hour inhalation at the brine graduation tower;
• the possibility of using of modern rehabilitation and exercise equipment (atlas gym unit, moving track, ergometers, steppers, orbitreks);
• the possibility of spending time in underground reading room and viewing mineral’s exhibition and the exhibition, dedicating the history of treatment as well;
• physical and psychological relaxation;
• sleeping in the unique microclimate in single-or double compartments on comfortable beds with anti allergic bed clothes ( bed clothes for additional repayment PLN 20);
• there is a possibility to have hot drinks (tea, coffee, chocolate) in price PLN 2/ drink;

Important information

• Over-night stay is from 8.00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on next day;
• Descents by the “Daniłowicz Shaft” – miner’s elevator at 8:00 p.m. ( obligatory meeting of participants – 7:00 p.m. in the Centre );
• Exit to ground level by the “Daniłowicz Shaft”- about 7:00 – 7:30 a.m.;
• we recommend to take warm clothes, a comfortable sports outfit and proper shoes for walking in the mine;
• the underground temperature is 11 degrees Centigrade;
the condition of taking part in over-night stay is possessing the physical motor ability ( the way from The Daniłowicz Shaft to the Stable of East Mining Hills is about 1 km );
• the children can take part in the over-night stays after fourth year of life, only under the supervision of adult, who should buy the over-night stay as well;
• the Centre doesn’t offer feeding; we recommend own eatables;
• the participant should take own night-bag and a spare pair of shoes to change at the Stable of East Mining Hills Chamber ( if the participant doesn’t have night-bag, there is possibility to borrow anti allergic bed-clothes Clinic for repayment PLN 20/ person, and to buy protective shoes for PLN 2/ pair );

The order of application is decisive. The number of places is limited. The Centre reserves the right to change the reservation date or cancel it.
